For some years now, bikes and MTB frames have appeared on the market with the shock absorber fixing bolt measuring 10mm. Our FixShox sockets to be inserted into the eyelet have always been compatible with the classic 8mm or even 6mm bolt.

Now we have created a special version called ZEN for 10mm bolts, typical of some performance bikes both classic and heavy Ebikes.

The fixshox is produced from 5 components:

• The Core, that is the central semi-spherical body where the 10mm bolt enters and is fixed in the frame
• The self-lubricating metal bushing, which fits between the shock absorber core and eyelet
• The spacers that regulate the stroke, different for each bike
• The fixing seeger

The core allows the FHIT metal bushing to rotate spherically in all directions, absorbing all the torsional and misalignment forces to the shock absorber that the carriage transmits to the frame. At the same time, it also allows rotation on its own axis to follow the movement of the link! You will thus have a shock absorber that is free to work without any opposing and torsional force!

Installation is recommended on joints where the maximum rotation angle of the eyelet is between + and - 5 degrees. See illustration
