3rd generation of the FixShox REVO FHIT with metal bushing.
When nothing seems to change on the outside, but everything is different on the inside!
A small miracle made up of 9 components, each optimized in terms of materials and tolerances to ensure even greater compatibility, strength, and durability.
The FHIT version is highly recommended for Downhill, Park, Enduro racing, and any situation where a high number of jumps, whips, and drops require exceptional impact resistance. It is usually installed in the rear linkage area when possible. Not suitable for use in the yoke area.

Specifications:
Two mechanisms in one to separate axial motion from spherical motion
Master Cylinder and Core made from special materials
Metal bushing for the REVO FHIT model
Polymer bushing for the other models: Classic and REVO
Zero rotational friction stack, comparable to a ball bearing
14 mm shoulder width (bushing seating area)
Low maintenance required
Standard 8 mm bolt hole or reduction for 6 mm bolt
What differentiates REVO and REVO FHIT from the Classic?
Smooth, frictionless axial rotation
A more precise and durable spherical joint
Extended durability of the polymer or FHIT bushing
Lower friction overall
To achieve this, we separated the two mechanical constraints, creating two coaxial bushings, one inside the other
The Core rotates freely, coaxially inside the Master Cylinder
The Bushing focuses solely on spherical movement, independently from the axial function, significantly reducing wear

It becomes clear that REVO and REVO FHIT are the ideal choices for installation on the rear shock eyelet, where axial rotation is essential.
By leveraging the coaxial design of Core and Master Cylinder, they can oscillate through all required angles without increasing bushing wear.
And what about the FixShox Classic?
The FixShox Classic is best used at the front shock mount or front triangle, where axial movement is either negligible or ideally limited to within 5 degrees.
In these cases, the Classic performs excellently as a spherical joint only.
